Any dataset that includes a location component coordinates, addresses, boundaries, or place references allowing it to be mapped and spatially analyzed.
Almost any real-world dataset becomes geospatial the moment it includes a coordinate, address, or boundary which is what allows otherwise unrelated data (retail visits, property records, demographic estimates) to be joined together on the one thing they share: location.
