Google Advertising ID (GAID)

A unique, resettable identifier assigned by Android to a device for advertising purposes, used in mobile attribution and audience building.

Android users can reset their GAID or, on newer OS versions, opt out of ad personalization entirely which is why advertisers increasingly pair GAID-based measurement with probabilistic and first-party signals rather than relying on it alone.
